Cane Toads: The Conquest synopsis: The first 3D film shot in Australia, Cane Toads The Conquest is director Mark Lewis' sequel of sorts to his 1987 cult classic Cane Toads: An Unnatural History, which broke the nature film mold wide open - not only due to its irreverent attitude, but because, unlike most popular documentaries about animals, it was not about a cuddly, endangered species. On the contrary, it was about a feared, reviled, some would even go so far as to say ugly, swamp-dweller run amok.
